AOI Engineer

Job Purposes & Position Summary

• This position requires a strong understanding of Advanced Packaging processes and defect modes, good communication and the capability to drive/deliver improvement results.
• Hands-on approach to create and set up robust AOI recipes for all inspection layers
• Relevant documentations such as Control Plan, FMEA, Process Specifications, WI, OCAP and Visual Aid
• Provide inspection and defect analysis/technical expertise to narrow down the potential point of occurrence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up Fan Out processes for qualifications till HVM run
• Install equipment and set up the process conditions for matching
• Perform process buy-off and release for production
• Robust recipe setup (2D, 3D, CD, True position)
• Set up FDC and SPC for process window

Experience in these areas will be an advantage: -

• Camtek Inspection machine (AOI)
• Defect reduction methodology
• Defect analysis software
• Cleanroom protocol
• Wafer fab process
• Project management
• Quality engineering

1. Preparation of equipment operation procedures and maintenance programs is in place.
2. Timely execution of new product or process development and qualification.
3. Demonstrates discipline in the timely execution of tasks.
4. Preparation of training and troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware
5. Ensure all requirements are met for smooth equipment implementation in production.
6. Meeting production yield, quality and utilisation consistently.
7. Documentation of engineering change control activities.
8. Work with suppliers and vendors to achieve quality, cost and risk management requirements.
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements: -

-Education: Bachelor's degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics and Chemistry

-Language: Excellent oral and written skills in English

-Experience: ->10 years working experience in the semiconductor industry

-Min 3 years of Camtek AOI hands-on experience

1. Good knowledge of Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Chemistry.
2. Understanding of semiconductor.
3. Intermediate level of equipment operation and maintenance.
4. Independent, resourceful and takes initiative.
5. Good Analytical and Troubleshooting skills.
