Description
- Process and verify vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address payment-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and information.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Profile
A Successful AP Analyst (US) Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to improving financial processes and accuracy.
