Description
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment preparation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies during payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and related financial documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues in invoices.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable balances.
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve any payment disputes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the accounts payable process.
Profile
A Successful AP Payment (1 Year Contract) Should Have
- A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software, with strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounts payable practices within the transport & distribution industry is an advantage.
