Description
- Manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Oversee compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and performance reviews.
- Prepare and present reports on accounts payable performance and metrics to management.
- Act as the main point of contact for Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Profile
A Successful AP Team Lead (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) & English, both written and spoken, to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
- Min 4 years of experience in end to end of AP/P2P
- Diploma or degree in related field
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
- Experience in leading or managing a team in an accounting and finance environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address discrepancies and improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced professional services environment.
