A global food manufacturer with a strong global presence seeks an APAC Procurement Manager to support regional alignment and lead procurement governance for its operations based in Selangor.
Your new role
As an APAC Procurement Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Act as the key liaison between group procurement, regional procurement teams, and local site leadership to ensure full alignment on strategy and governance.
- Oversee procurement requirements for the manufacturing facility, supporting supplier reviews, approved vendor lists, and regulatory processes such as import permit applications.
- Drive standardisation of procurement processes across APAC sites and strengthen collaboration with SCM, production, finance, and central procurement.
- Support savings initiatives across raw materials, packaging, indirect spend, capex, and energy by partnering closely with central procurement and finance teams.
- Monitor supply chain risks, analyse commodity trends, and ensure savings are accurately reflected in local P&L performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in procurement within a regional portfolio, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong background in Food, FMCG is preferred.
- Strong analytical capability, particularly in cost analysis, budgeting, commodity insights, and reporting.
- Knowledge of supply chain risk management, supplier evaluation, and procurement governance.
