Role Focus & Scope:
- This is a regional APAC role covering 12 countries and 200 sites, managing both inbound and outbound supply chain flows.
- The role will be executed entirely in-house without reliance on external consultants.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strong focus on freight management (70%), including:
- Multimodal transportation (road, rail, ocean, last mile)
- Freight cost analysis and optimization
- Network modeling (30%), including:
- Building and running supply chain models
- Data cleansing and analysis
- Evaluating network efficiency and optimizing flows
- Assessing impact of adding new customers to existing network
Candidate Profile:
- Background in supply chain consulting or industry roles with hands-on network design experience in Freight Management.
- Proven experience in:
- Designing and optimizing supply chain solutions
- Freight management and transportation analysis
- Exposure to multimodal logistics, especially ocean freight (critical for FMCG profiles)
- Preferably from industrial materials/chemical industry; FMCG profiles can be considered if they bring strong ocean transport experience
Regional Exposure:
- Must have experience working across Southeast Asia (SEA) markets
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple countries and stakeholders
