Key Responsibilities
Manage availability, reliability, performance and disaster recovery readiness of critical statistical and data warehouse applications, ensuring maximum system uptime, minimal business disruption, and optimal system response time, in accordance with the expectations of all stakeholders, international standards and best practices.
Undertake and support enhancement initiatives and process improvements by benchmarking against standards, best practices, and methodologies, and ensuring they are in accordance with guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
Undertake remediation of cybersecurity findings in applications by applying middleware patches and refreshing outdated software or technologies to address system obsolescence.
Manage and provide support services to stakeholders, ensuring that all reported incidents, problems and issues are resolved conclusively in the shortest possible duration, without any impact to business operations.
Provide value-added IT advisory and consultancy services to stakeholders via an in-depth understanding of the stakeholder's business area, anticipating needs of stakeholders, and continuously keeping abreast with developments in payments, settlement, depository, clearing and capital market systems.
Manage relationship with stakeholders ensuring that IT services deliver stakeholder satisfaction and ensuring that the IT services add value to the stakeholders.
Continuously keeping abreast with technology development to enable optimisation of the Bank's IT infrastructure and application for the improvement of IT solutions delivery to business users.
Build and maintain relationship with external expert and peers in other organizations to benchmark and research appropriate technology and processes for enhancing IT services in the Bank.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or application support with strong technical and analytical capabilities.
Experience with cloud technologies is highly preferred; ITIL Certification is an added advantage.
Knowledge of SDLC, system design & analysis, database management, and proficiency in one or more technologies:
SQL, Oracle, Visual Basic, JAVA, .NET, IIS, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, MS SSRS/SSAS/SSIS, Apache, SharePoint, IBM WebSphere, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, test automation tools, cybersecurity frameworks
