Description and Requirements

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Planning System Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Demand Planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth end-to-end planning processes within an Oracle Database environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in supply chain planning system-related projects, focusing on the design, configuration, and delivery of Demand Planning and MRP solutions.
  • Manage system optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement during system operation and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting within the Oracle Database framework.
  • Collaborate with IT and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless integration between planning systems and other enterprise applications.
  • Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective system enhancements to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory efficiency.
  • Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance and support end-users in resolving application or process-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Demand Planning and MRP system implementation or support.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL development and experience working with Oracle Databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes, data structures, and planning tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in database development is preferred
  • Knowledge in the supply chain field is preferred
  • Experience with Blue Yonder products is preferred
