Job Description

Role Overview

A Carlsberg Excellence Apprentice supports continuous improvement initiatives within the organization focusing on operational excellence, manufacturing, or operational functions. This hands-on digitalization applications and structured training, real project work, and cross-functional teamwork to build foundational skills and drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support improvement projects across operations, or commercial processes.
  • Analyse data and identify inefficiencies, to optimize performance (time studies, process flow mapping, cost efficiency).
  • Familiar with Continuous Improvement/Excellence in manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist with documentation, presentations, reporting, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's policies including Health & Safety.
  • Carry out other reasonable requests made by the manager to support departmental or company objective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or or any other similar qualification.
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Malay.
  • Able to commit to a 6-month apprenticeship term.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, including stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, resilient, proactive, action-oriented and with eagerness to learn.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative, systematic, high work capacity and a team player
  • Passion in the beer industry
