About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive business growth across the Central and Northern regions by developing and maintaining strong relationships with pharmacy chains, distributors, and key customers. As an Area Sales Manager, you will lead a sales team, expand our market presence, and achieve business objectives while representing Eldon Healthcare's commitment to quality and service excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives to maximize performance and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy chains, distributors, and key customers.
- Plan and execute trade promotions, product launches, and in-store marketing activities.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and performance reports for management.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or FMCG industry.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and leading a sales team.
- Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and key account management skills.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Possess a valid Malaysian driving license and own transport.
