Role Description The Art Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate art lessons that engage children in drawing, painting, and mixed media projects. The Art Teacher will guide students through foundational and advanced art techniques, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a safe, positive classroom environment. Responsibilities include preparing materials, managing class schedules, assessing student progress, and collaborating with the studio team on events and exhibitions. The Art Teacher is expected to communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student development and support the overall mission of the studio.

Qualifications

Strong teaching and art education skills, with experience engaging children in creative learning.
Proficiency in painting and related visual art techniques suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.
Ability in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Effective classroom management, with a patient, encouraging, and inclusive teaching style.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with families.
Relevant education or training in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience teaching in an art school, studio, or educational setting is an advantage.
