Asia Shipping Manager

Here's The Gist

This position will have responsibility for managing the extended Asia shipping & receiving team and ensuring daily operations are executed smoothly.

The Day-to-Day

• Manages local team in Malaysia and guides extended team
• Supports appropriate receiving & shipment operations
• Troubleshoots and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Participates to maintaining policies & procedures to support the logistics team
• Works with Enterprise Systems and IT on key project around inventory accuracy and streamline order fulfilment
• Partners with other organizations to develop 5S and BCP plans
• Keep abreast with current best practices on shipping management to lead, facilitate, train and mentor the team towards continuous improvements in shipping operations.
  
  

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

• Degree in supply chain or related field
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain, semiconductors being preferred
• SAP experienced
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience leading people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work to strict deadline.
