Job Purpose:

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Additionally, proficiency in financial software and knowledge of accounting principles are usually essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports for the Group in compliance with MASB approved accounting standards and regulations.
• Review subsidiary submissions and follow up on reporting issues, variance and outstanding schedules.
• Support preparation of Bursa announcements, audit committee papers and annual report disclosures.
• Coordinating with finance teams across different business units to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a plus advantage for this role.
• Have at least 2-4 years working experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Go of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and consolidation techniques.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is often necessary for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results.
• To ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Excellent in both verbal communication and written communication for preparing reports and documentation.
• Being a team player and fostering positive working relationships with other departments.
• Can handle sensitive financial information and must maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethics in work.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
