The Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) drives system-wide healthcare transformation by catalysing innovation, fostering collaboration, and building capability in care redesign, technology, and the CHI Innovation Cycle to improve health outcomes.

Digital Innovation Office (DIO) Overview

DIO leads NHG Health's digital transformation across Digital Hospital, Digital Community, and AI (HEAL) platforms by enabling workforce and care transformation, scaling AI adoption, and driving digital innovation through partnerships and institution-led initiatives.

Role Summary

This leadership role designs and embeds NHG's digital, automation, and AI capability frameworks to deliver sustainable workforce transformation and system-level impact. It oversees key platforms (Clinical AI Fellowship, AI Champions & Citizen Developers Network, Automation CoE), drives adoption and behavioural change, and ensures measurable outcomes in productivity, decision-making, and care.

Key Focus Areas

  • Capability Development: Build scalable frameworks, learning pathways, and adoption models aligned with AI governance to drive workforce readiness.
  • AI & Citizen Developer Network: Enable decentralised innovation through structured communities, governance, and scaling mechanisms.
  • Digital Community Transformation: Drive system-wide adoption and culture change, partnering with Population Health Digital Services.
  • Automation CoE: Shift from centralised delivery to self-service automation while maintaining governance and impact tracking.
  • Stakeholder Leadership: Align institutions, influence leaders, and shape system-wide digital transformation narratives.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years leadership in digital/AI adoption and workforce capability building
  • Strong systems thinking, governance, and organisational design
  • Proven stakeholder influence across complex environments
  • Expertise in driving adoption, behavioural change, and scalable capability frameworks
