Assistant Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities, including molding and assembly processes.
• Monitor production performance and help troubleshoot basic issues.
• Collect and analyze production data such as defects, downtime, and process performance.
• Assist in identifying root causes of problems and implementing improvements.
• Support validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), trials, and documentation.
• Update work instructions and maintain engineering documents.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, GMP, FDA QSR).
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Assist with audits, reports, training, and other engineering-related tasks.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Up to 2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing, injection molding, assembly, or medical device production.
• Knowledge of GMP, validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), and Lean tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
