Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, legislative, and QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) standards.
- Directed multidisciplinary facilities maintenance teams across electrical, mechanical, civil, electronics, and ACMV disciplines, ensuring alignment with client expectations, KPIs, and contractual obligations to deliver consistent operational excellence
- Prioritized work orders to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity by managing daily maintenance operations, overseeing fault reporting, and coordinating resources effectively.
- Monitored facilities, equipment, and asset performance by conducting regular building inspections and site audits, implementing improvement measures to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Attend client and service partner meetings, ensuring service agreements are delivered with satisfaction.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, end users, and key stakeholders.
- Strategize, plan, and implement business processes aligned with operational requirements.
- Collaborated with clients to identify opportunities for facility enhancements and new revenue streams, while attending client and service partner meetings to ensure service agreements were delivered with satisfaction
- Identify competency gaps, provide targeted training, and support strategic development and progression plans to strengthen team capabilities and future readiness
- Manage local site maintenance budgets, exercising cost control and monitoring profitability (P&L familiarity advantageous).
- Act as Duty Manager during incidents or emergencies, developing and implementing crisis and fire safety management plans.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance team structure, shift planning, and operational support for hospital services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in facilities management or engineering.
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) required.
- Experienced in retrofitting, A&A works, building maintenance practices, and safety procedures.
- Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision, and perform effectively under pressure.
