As we enter our next phase of growth towards 100 stores across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to strengthen our financial operations and support strategic decision-making.

About the Role

You will play a critical role in managing the company's financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all finance functions.

This role requires a strong foundation in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Mission

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and closing
• Strengthen financial controls and compliance standards
• Provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
• Maintain healthy cash flow and financial discipline
• Support business expansion with solid financial planning

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of monthly management accounts and ensure timely submission
• Prepare quarterly reports for submission to the consolidation team
• Review bank reconciliations and general ledger accuracy
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow position
• Prepare audit schedules and draft financial statements
• Develop budgets and forecasts in line with business growth plans
• Prepare tax computation and monthly deferred tax provision
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and governance requirements
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
• Experience in retail industry (backend finance) is required
• Familiarity with AutoCount accounting software is an added advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet tight deadlines
• A team player with good communication skills
