Assistant Finance Manager

Client Industry: Offer solutions to a multitude of industries to cater to their needs in Telecommunications, Testing & Measurement, Communication Information Technology, Security Surveillance and Audio Visual

Location: Petaling Jaya

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL)
• Review and analyze financial information for accurate financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial obligations
• Oversee SST returns, corporate tax computation, budgeting, and forecasting
• Lead annual inventory counts
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Resolve issues proactively and meet reporting deadlines
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• MIA membership or in the process of applying is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Leadership experience in guiding junior staff
• Knowledge of accounting standards and local tax compliance
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
