Job Description

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and policies.
• Guide and mentor junior team members in the accounting and finance department.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Assistant Finance Manager Should Have

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent are an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
