Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate filing of corporate tax returns and ensure tax computations (inclusive company tax estimates) to be prepared in a quality and timeliness manners and keep sufficient tax documentation.
  • Prepare indirect tax returns and submit to Customs for entities within IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
  • Monitor indirect tax / Company tax refunds payments for entities within IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
  • Be part of the Group Taxation team working on and implementing tax initiatives, continuous improvement including but not limited to indirect tax, corporate tax planning and other special projects on ad hoc basis.
  • Familiarize with Tax & Annual National Budget and update Management on any relevant areas.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and tax agent to provide tax audit support for the Group.
  • Assists and advises Finance Team on tax compliance requirements and related issues.
  • Coach and develop the tax team staff.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Superior or any other person as directed from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and/or professional qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in taxation or related fields
  • Professional personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
