Job Description:

Finance Operations Management & Business Support

  • Oversee daily finance and administrative operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of financial processes.
  • Manage and optimize processes related to payments, expenses, vendor coordination, employee reimbursements, and operational finance support.
  • Review existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Act as a key point of contact between finance and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational requirements.

Cross-functional Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Country Managers to support business operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment between departments on operational priorities, timelines, and requirements.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to stakeholders on finance-related and administrative matters.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining service quality and delivery timelines.

Reporting, Analysis & Process Governance

  • Support the preparation and review of financial and operational reports to provide visibility into business performance.
  • Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to improve processes and resource allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and administrative governance standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support audit/compliance requirements where applicable.

Team Support & Capability Development

  • Lead and support a team of finance executives by providing strategic guidance on daily operations.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins and reviews to align goals, address challenges, and communicate key updates from senior management.
  • Monitor individual and team performance; implement targeted development plans as needed to raise the overall performance bar.
  • Forecast workload and headcount needs; participate in hiring processes including candidate interviews, evaluations and selections, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.

Business Operations & Ad Hoc Projects

  • Support management on business initiatives requiring finance and administrative coordination.
  • Drive or participate in process improvement projects to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs and take ownership of new responsibilities as required.

Skills & Experience that WOW us:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is highly preferred due to the cross-functional and business support nature of the role.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, finance operations, or business support functions; experience managing end-to-end processes and cross-functional coordination is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, reporting processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements; knowledge of local accounting practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal Chinese and English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • Highly adaptable and agile, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments including Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business teams.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and business information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify operational challenges, and provide practical recommendations to support business decisions.
