Job Brief
The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance team and managing the financial health of the organization. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The Assistant Finance Manager will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and effective financial strategies to support the company's objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and cashflow to ensure financial health.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making.
- To track and control monthly expenditure, monitor and verify all contracts and payments before cheque signatory signs
- To manage a portfolio of investment properties, including rental collection, sale of properties, tenant management, new property inspections, property maintenance, etc
- To liaise with bankers on the opening of bank accounts, monitoring bank loans & banking facilities, and explore relevant investment products
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance functions
- Strong knowledge of full set of accounts and accounting systems
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and tax regulations
- Proven problem-solving skills with strong stakeholder management ability
- Good leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Well-organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Hour: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
