As the
Assistant Finance Manager, you are responsible for preparing financial reports, managing cash flow, overseeing receivables collection, and ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain financial accuracy, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with payroll and commission payouts.
The
Assistant Finance Manager will be reporting directly to the
Group Finance Manager.
01 Job Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports with detailed analytical review across all subsidiaries.
- Manage cash flow and oversee debtors/receivables collection.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
- Ensure timely corporate tax submission and estimation in collaboration with tax agents.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and banks.
- Ensure invoices are prepared for all signed IOs received.
- Handle SST filing on a bi-monthly basis.
- Prepare commission payouts and assist with payroll in collaboration with HR and office teams.
- Review the Monthly Group consolidation file after month-end closing.
- Maintain and update the financial tracker on a weekly/monthly basis for management reporting.
- Conduct quarterly financial reviews and analysis.
- Prepare payables and manage payments as per the payment cycle.
- Oversee and monitor inter-company charges.
- Assist the regional team with ad hoc financial reporting.
02 Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, including at least 2 years in an Assistant Manager role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Xero accounting software.
- Experience in the advertising industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and financial tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
