Assistant General Manager, Institution

Lead supervisory teams responsible for the oversight of assigned NBFIs and strategic institutional investors, ensuring effective identification, assessment and mitigation of prudential, governance, operational and market-related risks.

Supervisory Management

• Lead relationship management and supervision of assigned entities.
• Assess governance, risk management, financial resilience, investment activities and compliance frameworks
• Review institutional risk profiles and recommend supervisory ratings.

Examination and Reviews

• Plan and oversee focused reviews, thematic reviews and supervisory engagements.
• Evaluate entities responses to supervisory findings and monitor remediation efforts.
• Recommend supervisory measures where deficiencies or elevated risks are identified.

Risk Surveillance

• Monitor emerging sectoral and institution-specific risks.
• Evaluate significant events, including governance issues, cyber incidents, operational disruptions and market events.
• Conduct forward-looking assessments of potential systemic implications.

Policy and Framework Development

• Contribute to the development of supervisory methodologies, risk assessment frameworks and supervisory policies.
• Lead research and benchmarking exercises on institutional investor and NBFI regulatory frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage senior management and board representatives of supervised entities.
• Coordinate with internal SC departments and external regulatory agencies as required.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor Managers and supervisory officers.
• Review work outputs and ensure quality and consistency of supervisory assessments.
