Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Leasing Manager to lead and manage the leasing activities for a retail mall. The candidate will be responsible for developing leasing strategies, sourcing and securing tenants, negotiating lease terms, and improving overall occupancy and tenant mix for the mall.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute leasing strategies to improve mall occupancy and rental income.
- Source and secure new tenants, particularly retail and F&B tenants.
- Plan and curate the right tenant mix for the mall.
- Conduct market research on competitors, rental rates, and market trends.
- Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, and tenancy agreements.
- Manage lease renewals, tenancy agreements, and leasing documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and business partners.
- Prepare leasing reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
- Work closely with marketing team on mall promotions and events to attract tenants and customers.
- Handle leasing for new mall setup.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of leasing experience in shopping mall or commercial properties.
- Experience in sourcing and managing F&B tenants is an added advantage.
- Must have experience handling leasing for new malls.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills with retail brands and tenants.
- Good understanding of mall operations, tenant mix planning, and market trends.
