About the Role:
The Assistant Manager, Logistics, will be a key driver in optimizing international and domestic logistics costs and processes for PICSB's CBU and CKD units. This role requires managing cross-functional projects specifically focusing on improving material flow efficiency and reducing handling costs. The candidate will assist the Logistics Manager to manage vendor relationships, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, regulatory compliance (including customs), and optimal inventory management within the vehicle yard. The candidate should be a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership and communication skills.

Education
Diploma / Degree
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Specific Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
i. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
ii. Expert knowledge of export/import procedures and customs documentation (e.g., permits, declarations).
iii. Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
iv. Proficiency in data analytics and reporting (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
v. Extensive working knowledge of international shipping Incoterms and documentation
