Role Description The Assistant Manager Authority Liaison and Project Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Malaysia. This position is responsible for coordinating with various government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local agencies to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and submitting documentation, tracking application statuses, and resolving authority-related issues in collaboration with internal project teams. The role also involves supporting project planning and development activities, monitoring progress against timelines, and contributing to risk assessments and mitigation plans. The Assistant Manager will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and maintain accurate records of all authority and project development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in stakeholder communication, relationship management, and coordination with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in project planning, documentation management, and tracking approvals and timelines for development projects.
- Solid understanding of local regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements within Malaysia's construction and property development industry.
- Ability to analyze project risks, support problem-solving efforts, and contribute to efficient decision-making in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic qualification in construction management, engineering, architecture, urban planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in standard office software and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Prior experience in authority liaison, project coordination, or development roles within the construction or real estate sector is an advantage.
