Role Objective

This role supports the Business Analytics Manager by executing technical data extraction, maintaining accuracy of reporting infrastructure, and automating routine delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & Extraction: Coordinate the end-to-end process of data extraction from various internal databases, ensuring all data sets are cleaned, reconciled, and ready for analysis.
  • Reporting Automation: Facilitate the technical transition of manual, repetitive reporting tasks into automated workflows and visual dashboards (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) to improve team productivity.
  • Operational Support: Support the translation of business requirements into technical specifications and handle Change Request (CR) to ensure reporting logic remains aligned with evolving business processes.
  • Team Coordination & Deputizing: Assist the manager in monitoring the distribution of ad-hoc and routine reports to ensure all deadlines are met with high accuracy and consistency. Act as the primary point of contact for the team during the Manager's absence.

Requirements

Formal Education and Certification:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or an Information Technology-related field. Knowledge of business process design and conceptualization skills is essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in SQL query writing is essential, with the ability to write complex queries and optimized data extraction.
  • Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced functions to support data reconciliation and the preparation of structured reports.
  • BI Tools: Familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Crystal Reports to support the maintenance of BI dashboards.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate technical findings clearly. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective communication with specific internal and external stakeholders.
