We are partnering with a reputable
Malaysia-listed Group to look for an
Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance to join their Group Corporate Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, gaining exposure to
corporate exercises, M&A activities, business transformation, and strategic planning at Group level.
You will play a key role in supporting the Group's growth agenda — from analysing business performance and evaluating investment opportunities, to supporting strategic initiatives that help reshape and strengthen business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Group-level corporate exercises, M&A activities, investments, and special projects.
- Perform financial analysis, business evaluation, budgeting, and corporate planning to support management decisions.
- Support consolidation, entity account reviews, and Group reporting.
- Work closely with internal Finance teams, investment bankers, advisors, and key stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
What We Are Looking For:
- Current Auditors and ex-Auditors are highly encouraged to apply.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) are preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to Audit, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, M&A, or FP&A are welcome.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in understanding businesses beyond numbers.
