Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage corporate communication activities that promote Awantec's brand, services, and products. Key accountabilities include producing and disseminating press releases, native articles, CEO speeches, and quarterly board slides, and coordinating events such as MOU signings, product launches, and VIP visits. The role also involves content development for the Annual Report, supporting the annual general meeting, and ensuring all communication materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines. Additionally, the role requires updating communication channels, conducting audience and market research, and contributing creative input to integrated marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Annual Report Leadership: Lead the end-to-end content development and coordination for the Annual Report, ensuring it is published in strict compliance with the Listing Requirements issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Manage and streamline the flow of information between departments to ensure all mandatory disclosures and corporate narratives are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting (AGM), ensuring all communication materials align with regulatory expectations.
- Produce press releases, native articles, speeches of CEOs, Quarterly Board slides etc., as well as coordinate and manage any internal and external events or activities as required eg MOU signing ceremonies, new products or services launches, VIP visits.
- Write and oversee the development and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to promote the organization's activities, achievements, and initiatives. It is ensuring accurate and timely delivery to media outlets.
- To initiate and garner media interviews, coordinate and prepare write-ups
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines for various ATL, BTL, and Digital materials as and when required.
- Ensure timely update of all communication channels with current information and articles, aligning with promotional activities and Awantec Group website policy. This includes brochures, newsletters, Social Media etc.
- Support the overall marketing strategy by providing creative input and contributing to the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
- To plan and implement marketing activities for all clients in the assigned account as designated by the head of Marketing for purpose of promoting the company's products and services.
- To initiate and maintain good working relationships with clients. A regular marketing report to be given to the manager on the activities/ events organized.
- To represent the company in marketing activities, roadshows, exhibitions, and etc events
Job Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Communication, Public Relations, Linguistics/Languages, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position in the corporate communication field
