We are looking for a driven and analytical Assistant Manager – Demand Planning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, driving data-informed decisions, and ensuring optimal balance between supply and demand to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market insights
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to align demand and supply plans
- Support business decision-making through data analysis, insights, and forecasting models
- Monitor forecast performance and identify opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy
- Drive initiatives to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and prevent write-offs
- Contribute to improving overall service levels and customer satisfaction
- Support and participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
- 4–5 years of experience in supply chain planning
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a demand planning role, preferably with some leadership exposure
- Strong command of English; additional local language(s) is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of statistical forecasting and experience with forecasting systems/tools
- Good understanding of S&OP processes, with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
