Assistant Manager, Digital Finance Business Analyst (AI, Automation)

CAG Finance has embarked on a transformation journey to reimagine the way Finance operates through automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data-driven decision making.

We are looking for a Digital Finance Business Analyst to join our Digital Finance and Systems team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders, developers and data engineers to identify opportunities, redesign processes, and implement innovative solutions leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Microsoft Power Platform, AI and data analytics technologies.

This role combines business analysis, process improvement, automation delivery and AI enablement to drive meaningful business outcomes across Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Finance users and stakeholders to understand current processes, challenges and desired business outcomes.
• Challenge existing ways of working and recommend process simplification, standardization and transformation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements, align stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process documentation, solution designs
• Identify, assess and prioritise opportunities for automation using technologies such as RPA, Microsoft Power Platform, AI and Data Platform.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, while ensuring scalability, security & maintainability. Proposed solutions must be aligned with the organization's IT policy.
• Work closely with developers throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
• Define and execute test scenarios to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
• Support the adoption of Generative AI and other emerging AI technologies across Finance processes
• Support onboarding of new data sources into Data Platform and analytics initiatives
• Stay current with developments in AI, automation & digital technologies, and actively identify innovative applications with Finance.
• Ensure AI solutions are implemented in accordance with governance, security and responsible AI principles
• Support project planning, tracking and delivery of automation, AI and analytics initiatives
• Identify project risks, dependencies and issues, and recommend mitigation measures
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline, preferably in Information Technology / Business Systems or Finance disciplines.
• At least 3 years of working experience in business analysis, digital transformation, automation or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of tools, e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, and UiPath
• Deep appreciation in Finance processes and internal control considerations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  
  

This position is on a 3 year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CAG with an option to renew, contingent on performance and organisational needs.
