Assistant Manager, Engineering

1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing maintenance activities to ensure smooth plant operations.
2. Support the HOD in managing equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
3. Supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
4. Monitor and analyze maintenance data to recommend improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
5. Ensure timely procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials.
6. Maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance reports.
7. Promote workplace safety and adherence to company policies and industry standards.
8. Participate in the continuous improvement program/cost savings projects in the area utility and electrical maintenance
9. Perform any other works or responsibilities assigned by the management related to engineering & maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (Mechatronics preferred).
• 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems in industrial machinery.
• Experience in troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
