The Assistant Manager, Finance will play a key role in overseeing financial activities and ensuring accurate reporting within the Manufacturing sector. This position is based in Subang Jaya and requires strong expertise in accounting and finance operations.

Description
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place, including proper reconciliations, audit trails, and adherence to established SOPs.
- Compile timely explanations from project teams for the monthly group account consolidation and management reporting up to gross profit level.
- Conduct analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and other analyses, comparing actual results against budget up to the gross margin level.
- Oversee monthly financial results, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting for International operations, including monitoring and managing the cash position of PTBM/PTBMI.
- Work closely with subsidiary Finance Managers to prepare monthly financial statements and analysis up to gross profit level.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and the company's internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly presentation materials for the Executive Committee.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government authorities on finance-related matters.
- Review provisional tax computations and support the preparation of tax estimates and submissions to the Inland Revenue Board, including tax planning activities.
- Assist the Financial Controller in managing year-end audits and drafting audited financial statements.
- Prepare compiled Group order summaries and sixmonth forecasts for all subsidiaries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, as the above responsibilities are not exhaustive and may evolve as needed.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in group consolidation and reporting with strong analytical and accounting technical skills
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector is a plus.
