Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Close Management

  • Manage monthly and annual accounting close and reporting.

  • Prepare detailed quarterly reports for the Board.

  • Handle consolidation for wholly owned subsidiaries.

Accounting Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency across all accounting functions.

  • Review, reconcile, and ensure Group policy adherence for accruals and provisions.

  • Reconcile receivables, payables, and bank statements investigate variances.

  • Reconcile historical prepayments and resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor related party transactions for compliance.

Working Capital & Process Improvement

  • Preserve working capital and ensure financial liquidity.

  • Resolve Accounts Payable (AP) issues with management/shared service center.

  • Collaborate on IT/ERP enhancements to continuously improve financial processes.

  • Handle ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Hold at least a bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance or an equivalent Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including a background in external audit, demonstrating the financial acumen necessary for this role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel.

  • Analytical Ability: Possess high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and effective communication within the team and across departments.

  • Resilience: Proven ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
