Assistant Manager, Finance (based in SG)

About our client:

Our clients, a prominent leader in their industry, is currently seeking a Assistant Manager, Finance (Singapore). This role will drive financial performance through insightful analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and decision support that enhances efficiency, profitability, and cross-functional business collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate reporting, accruals, and capital expenditure tracking. Prepare management reports with clear analysis of key drivers and variances.
• Work closely with commercial and operations teams to align financial plans with business priorities and provide insights that support cost optimisation and margin improvement.
• Drive annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and perform variance analysis to support performance management.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track business performance and highlight opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Build financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, risk assessment, and scenario planning, ensuring decisions are data-driven and commercially sound.
• Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights and market intelligence to support commercial strategy development.
• Support M&A and acquisition activities including due diligence, valuation, and integration, while driving cost structure optimisation and efficiency initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Min degree, CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Min 5 years of working experience within Consumer industry.
• Strong proficiency in SAP/Oracle Hyperion, advanced Excel financial modelling, PowerPoint, and added advantage in Power BI tools and ERP migration experience.
• Strong analytical and commercial finance skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
