Your new role
- Handle the closing of company-level accounts and support the preparation of group consolidated accounts, including schedules and notes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Review and compile financial statements and management accounts for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Assist in management reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the group.
- Prepare full quarterly announcement reports for Bursa submission.
- Draft audited financial statements and annual reports for the listed group.
- Oversee and resolve accounting-related issues, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to complete audit reports within set timelines and address any audit findings.
- Review and monitor tax computations, compliance, and planning in accordance with governing standards and regulations.
What you&aposll need to succeed
- A minimum of 45 years of experience in finance or auditing; experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm + commercial industry is an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as MIA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) is essential.
- Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, and other regulatory guidelines is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility.
