Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with MFRS and local regulations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of receipts and payments, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
  • Supervise the reconciliation of bank accounts, credit accounts, and intercompany accounts.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring timely receipt of payments and managing outgoing payments.
  • Monitor the accuracy of general ledger entries, reviewing account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax filings, including SST and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist with internal controls and the implementation of financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, with experience in financial reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Autocount Accounting Software.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws.
