The Job
We are looking for Purchasing Coordinator to further strengthen our Purchasing department.
Some of your main duties & responsibilities:
- Support the Raw Material Purchasing department in ensuring smooth, efficient, and effective procurement operations
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high priority topics are handled before the deadline
- Compile, analyze, and generate procurement-related data and reports, market data gathering and analysis
- Assist in preparing and maintaining raw material purchasing specifications and coordinate receiving documents, samples, and supplier communication in time
- Support the Purchasing team during audit sessions, including document retrieval and follow-up on action items
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain sustainability declarations, certifications, sample and compliance information
- Support monthly position, KPI, planning and performance reporting
- Follow up to ensure corrective actions from suppliers are implemented and documented.
- You will report directly to the Global Purchasing Team Manager Raw Materials
Who are we looking for
You'll succeed if:
- You have possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Chemistry, or related fields.
- You have at least Minimum 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or manufacturing environments
- You have good communication and written skills in English
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- You are highly analytic, like to work autonomously and have a great sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with quality and sustainability standards is an added advantage
- You are willing to work at Centro Mall, Klang
