We're Hiring: Assistant Manager, Finance Operations & Investment

Looking to take the next step in your finance career We're on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join us at ML Re.

This role offers a great blend of finance operations and investment exposure, where you'll play a key part in managing day-to-day financial activities, optimizing cash flow, and supporting our investment operations.

What you'll be driving:

• Overseeing end-to-end daily finance operations, including receipting, payments, and journal entries
• Reviewing and verifying financial transactions and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes
• Managing fixed assets, including physical verification and proper record keeping
• Supervising daily cash flow and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs
• Preparing and maintaining rolling cash flow forecasts (daily/weekly)
• Supporting investment operations, including fund placements, withdrawals, and liaising with asset management companies
• Assisting in the preparation of investment papers and materials for the Investment Committee
• Maintaining accurate records of investment transactions, confirmations, and positions
• Preparing supporting schedules for management reporting, audit, and tax requirements (including SST, e-Invoicing, and deferred tax)
• Ensuring timely submission of reports in line with finance and compliance requirements

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong accounting and/or audit background
• Holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Brings experience in the insurance industry (highly preferred)
• Is familiar with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements
• Exposure to Retakaful will be an added advantage
