JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager Finance Operations is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, treasury, payables and budgetary functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies while driving efficient financial processes through strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee finance especially Treasury related operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee end-to-end budgeting, expenditure monitoring, variance analysis, financial reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective budget control, insightful analysis and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, cash flow forecast, transfer of funds management, banking facility arrangements and Accounts Payable and Treasury operations related reporting.
  • Liaise with banks relationships manager, internal and external auditors for financial audits and compliance reviews.
  • Having experience in other operational finance process (e.g GL, Reporting, Accounts Payable) is an added advantage.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team in delivering results.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is an advantage.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND PREFERED SKILLS

  • 8+ years of experience in finance operations including Treasury and compliance or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of budgetary control, variance analysis, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software Oracle Fusion is advantages.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, resourceful with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Results orientated with good leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
