Assistant Manager Finance

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading and managing the financial matters of JustGO, ensuring all relevant functions are effectively managed in alignment with JustGO's objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end finance function, ensuring effective delivery of accounting, financial management, and reporting to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
• Provide strategic financial leadership, including the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), financial forecasts, and functional strategies aligned with the Company's objectives.
• Manage company financials, including budgeting, cost allocation, tracking, and variance analysis to ensure effective cost control and alignment with approved budgets.
• Manage accounting operations including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with MFRS.
• Manage and optimise financial resources, including cash flow planning, capital expenditure, and funding requirements to support operational and project needs.
• Develop financial models, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses to support management decision-making, Board papers, and financing requirements.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across all financial processes, including effective coordination with auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and relevant authorities.
• Act as the key liaison between project teams, PMB finance, and external stakeholders on financial reporting, consolidation, and project financing matters.
• Lead and develop the Finance team while partnering with functional leads to provide financial advisory, drive accountability, and foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

Qualification:

Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any relevant field.

Desired experience/exposure:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or corporate services.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong understanding of MFRS, tax compliance, and corporate governance standards.
• Prior experience as a Finance BP is an added advantage.
