Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure month end closing and completion as per timeline.
  • Lead the team to review balance sheet items with the team to ensure no long outstanding without valid reason.
  • Ensuring correct general ledger usage on the transactions and mapping with BPC.
  • Ensure fixed assets management complies with SOP in terms of acquisition, depreciation computations, traceability, records and disposal.
  • Preparation and coordination of annual budget for operation expenditures.
  • Involved in contributing relevant decision making and ideas during difficult situation / solving issues both within and with other departments ie issues on month end closing, system processes for Finance and Logistics, Accounts Payable related matters.
  • Organize, train, and coach team to carry out work and provide guidance in solving issues,
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the SOP.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
  • Possess professional accountancy membership (e.g. ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MIA).
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in FMCG industry.
  • Experience working in an MNC is an added advantage.
  • Effective communication abilities to engage with individuals at all organizational levels
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
