Assistant Manager - Finance/Senior Executive

Role Overview:

Oversee the financial management of the ILF Division, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, and efficient finance operations across all entities.

Responsible for reviewing and consolidating financial submissions, supporting Board reporting processes, and providing functional guidance to site finance teams. Drive standardisation of finance processes while supporting ERP implementation and continuous process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across ILF entities
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
• Prepare Board papers, financial reports, and management presentations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies
• Support M3 ERP implementation, including data migration, UAT, and master data management
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
• Support biological asset valuation and costing analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support ad-hoc requests

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial finance experience, preferably with audit exposure
• Experience in regional environments and/or public listed companies is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
• High attention to detail with strong analytical, reporting, and planning capabilities
• Resourceful in information gathering with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Results-driven, with strong business acumen and customer focus
• Creative thinker with the ability to drive improvements and add value
• A collaborative team player with a positive working attitude
• Willing to be based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
