Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial and tax reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control measures.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and growth plans.
  • Implement internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Understand and analyze financial implications specific to the Lift and Elevator or Project Engineering business, including project costing, profit recognition, maintenance contracts, and capital expenditure.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification: Member of MIA and/or ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MIA or equivalent (must be recognized in Malaysia).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in the lift and elevator industry or related engineering/construction sectors is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, Malaysian tax laws, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Mandarin language only
  • Salary of RM 10,000.
