Job Overview
The Assistant Manager, Group Project Planning & Development supports the Manager / Senior Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing property development projects from feasibility stage through design, tender, construction, and vacant possession.
This role focuses on project coordination, design support, compliance monitoring, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in market analysis and development concepts.
- Support preparation of project briefs, master schedules, and development timelines.
- Coordinate and liaise with external consultants (architects, engineers, and designers) during all design stages.
- Review design submissions for compliance with approved briefs, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements.
- Support design quality control and ensure compliance with UBBL and local authority requirements and Eco World standards.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials for internal management.
- Attend design meetings and conduct site visits when required, reporting findings to management.

Qualifications
- Minimum LAM Part 1 with architecture related experience.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architecture/ property development/ design management.
- Experience with large-scale residential, commercial developments is preferred.
- Familiarity with local authority submission and approval processes in Malaysia.
- Familiarity with building regulations, by-laws, and construction practices.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
