Key Responsibilities:
Sales Expansion:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets for industrial lubricants in the Malaysian market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industry sectors (e.g., manufacturing machine makers, lubricant distributors, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track performance, and analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement.
Marketing Activities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote industrial lubricants in the Malaysian market.
- Organise and participate in trade shows, seminars, and other marketing events.
- Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, presentations).
- Build brand awareness and enhance the market image of SHL lubricants.
- Monitor and analyse marketing campaign effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Customer Service:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding SHL lubricants.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the lubricants market.
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support business decisions.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with other departments within CLP and with external partners.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial lubricant sales or a similar role (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong understanding of the lubricants market in Malaysia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach.
- Fluency in both English and Malay (written and spoken).
