We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as
Assistant Manager / Manager, Commercial / Project Financial Controller, responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis and monitoring of commercial/project activities. Key responsibilities include preparing performance reports and board papers, conducting financial modelling and simulations, and managing budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial / project performance against budgets and targets.
- Prepare monthly corporate reports, including setting up and maintaining dashboards.
- Prepare forecasts.
- Coordinate the annual budget preparation process.
- Prepare financial models for commercial / project pursuits.
- Participate in tender evaluations.
- Prepare board papers.
- Assist in system transformation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
- Qualified accountant from a recognized professional accounting body (e.g. MICPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with strong numerical skills.
- Excellent report writing, analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Melayu and English. Additional languages will be an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience in financial modelling, business analysis, systems transformation, audit and business partnering will be an added advantage.
