Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the credit risk of the Digital Bank. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, designing risk measurements, monitoring risk metrics and preparing risk reports for Management, Board and regulatory submission. This role reports to Head, Credit Risk Management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing credit-related policies and procedures, and implement the requirements for Personal Banking and Business Banking customers.
  • Propose and review the credit underwriting standards to ensure a risk-reward balanced decision is made.
  • Complete the credit model validation from end to end for new/existing models in the Bank.
  • Conduct portfolio monitoring, including financing sourcing, portfolio performance, concentration risk, and asset quality.
  • Prepare the credit risk report for Management and all credit-related reports for regulatory submission.
  • Perform in-depth portfolio analysis to identify underlying risk drivers, vintage trends, and segment-specific issues.
  • Propose and implement the early warning signs, and develop strategy for proactive management of problematic credits.
  • Provide comment and support on the new product development for Personal Banking and Business Banking markets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Professional certificates such as CCP/PCC/BRM/FRM will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years working experience in credit risk in the banking industry.
  • Possess good knowledge in technology/risk analytics, risk management, and banking products.
  • Strong quantitative problem solving skills, with a positive and constructive attitude, as well as able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Quick learner, result-driven and willing to make a difference.
