Job Description

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Provide support on full spectrum of Compensation and Benefits duties covering performance management, budget planning, benefit and insurance administration, payroll administration, leave management, HRIS & Payroll systems, flexi-ben administration, etc. to ensure meeting of corporate strategic goals and objectives.
  • Perform salary & benefits benchmarking and analysis, including but not limited to market survey participation, annual salary review proposal & budgeting while staying updated with industry salary trends.
  • Review and update policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits that aligned with corporate guidelines to ensure efficient practices and legal compliance.
  • Support yearly performance management review for annual salary review exercise, variable bonus plan, promotion recommendation and market adjustment.
  • Support in-house payroll process to ensure accuracy and compliance with local policy and statutory requirement.
  • Keep abreast of market and legislative updates, trends and provide necessary advice and support to all level of staff and management.
  • Responsible for the preparation, collation and analysis of relevant management reports and approval papers. Advise on the proper documentation to be prepared and ensure safe keeping of the department's written materials.
  • Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to rewards policies and facilitate education sessions about compensation and benefits to enhance understanding and usage among employees.
  • Develop and maintain close coordination and productive working relationship between the Human Resource Department and other key departments at HQ Office as well as mall level.
  • Use HR analytics tools to monitor compensation-related data and prepare reports for management, subsequently work on a;d present actionable insights on workforce metrics such as turnover related to benefits dissatisfaction.
  • Provide necessary support to other HR functions as deemed necessary.

REQUIREMENT:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies /Administration /Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience primarily in compensation ( solid understanding of compensation structure, payroll, taxation, benefits bench-marking, etc )
  • Must be familiar with local labor laws and other relevant regulations pertaining to EPF, Tax and SOCSO.
  • PC literate and good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Must be able to work with ambiguity, be highly independent and willing to take initiative, challenge and responsibilities.
  • Analytical and attentive to details.
  • Independent, tactful and possess high level of integrity.
  • Self-driven and able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Experience and knowledge in Workday and Ceridian will be an added advantage.
